Chiropractic

Dr. Kimberly Hunt lives and works in the greater Kansas City area. A 2001 graduate of Cleveland chiropractic College, she treated human patients for many years before opening her animal practice.

Through her involvement with dog agility, Dr. Hunt realized a need for animal chiropractic care, so she attended Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic. She is certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association (IVCA)

Just as with humans, animals can have the same type of problems with their joints, ligaments and muscles. A human can tell you they are having discomfort or pain, an animal, on the other hand cannot. Instead, their discomfort is masked in their body language. They compensate for the painful area by moving differently, they tend to redistribute their weight and may even be unable to walk or stand at all. They may experience shaking, weakness, or partial to complete paralysis. Dr. Hunt used gentle joint manipulation, massage techniques and rehabilitation exercises to restore pain-free motion to all joints and soft tissue.

Dr. Hunt has an office in our holistic center where your pet can receive treatment in a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
